MULTAN, 11 Oct 07: Laiq Ahmad Qureshi, Government Elementary School District Jail Multan headmaster, has said the Holy Quran is the widely read book in the world which was revealed for providing guidance to the entire mankind.
Speaking at Jashn-i-Nazool Quran arranged at the school under Ramazan project, he said the Quran has been preserved by Almighty Allah in the hearts and minds of millions of faithful.
He said Almighty Allah has ensured its preservation and no one could make any change or alter the Holy Book till the day of resurrection. Mian Tayyab Bodhla, M Ilyas, Abubakar Siddique, Qari Rasheed Ahamd and Mian Shabbir Yousaf also spoke at Jashn-i-Nazool Quran and asked the Muslims to mould their lives in accordance with the teachings of Holy Quran. The speakers' trough light on the importance and significance of the Holy Quran. The elementary school also arranged special functions on occasion of victory of Makkah, the death anniversary of Syeda Khadija-tul-Qubra, Battle of Badar, and death anniversary of Syeda Aisha Siddiqua and martyrdom of Syedna Hazrat Ali (RA).
