Faisal mosque is located at the foot of Margalla Hills and is an important landmark of Islamabad. Designed by the Turkish architect, Vedat Dalokay, Faisal mosque is the largest mosque of Pakistan which extends over 189 705 square meters and can accommodate some 100,000 devotees at a time. It has four minarets of 88 meters high and 40 meter high main prayer hall.
